Babulski, Joseph (17 MAR 1874 - 20 MAY 1941)

Joseph Babulski, 67, died at his farm home in the town of Roosevelt (Taylor Co., Wis.), of carcinoma on Tuesday, May 20, 1941.

The deceased was born in Austria on March 17, 1874. He was married there in 1895 to Leona Kazmierczak. They came to America the following years and located in Pennsylvania. In 1904 he and his family moved to Green Bay, Wis., and in 1910 came to the Lublin, near which village he resided on a farm until death.

Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Walter at home, Raymond, a soldier in the U.S. Army, and Edward of Green Bay; four daughters, (Helen) Mrs. Frank Fillo of Thorp, (Rose) Mrs. Walter Zasacki of Chicago, and (Mary) Mrs. Nick Tyznik of Gilman; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Stama of Green Bay, and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jas. Irish at the P.N.A. Hall at Thorp at nine o’clock Friday morning and interment took place in the east Thorp Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Anton Kendra, Joseph Wisniewski, Geo. Czaplinski, John Kowalezyk, John Jaromolek and Victor Mociski.
