Meske, Lila Mae (Marriage - 4 Sept. 1954)

Miss Lila Mae Meske, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Meske of Curtiss, and Floyd F. Klemetson, also of Curtiss, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon, Sept. 4, in Christ Lutheran church at Abbotsford, Wisconsin, Rev. F. H. Sprengler reading the marriage ceremony.

The couple was attended by Mrs. Adrian Strom of Minneapolis, the groom’s aunt, and Mrs. Norbert Hartl of Minneapolis and Miss Annette Uhlig of Curtiss, both nieces of the groom. Adrian Strom of Minneapolis, a nephew of the groom, was best man. Another nephew, Norbert Hartl of Minneapolis, and Gerald Billman of Chili, a cousin of the bride, were groomsmen.

A reception was held at the Christ Lutheran parlors after which the couple left on a wedding trip to the Black Hills and Yellowstone National Park, and, on their return, will live in Curtiss.

Mrs. Klemetson has been employed by Employers Mutuals Company of Wausau and her husband by the Alvin Uhlig Construction Company of Abbotsford, Wis.
