Dehne, Gertrude M. (Marriage - 25 Feb. 1954)

Gertrude M. Dehne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dehne, and Edward J. Masiewicz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kasmir Masiewicz, were united in marriage at the First Evangelical and Reformed parsonage Thursday, Feb. 25th, at 3:30 P.M., Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch reading the marriage ceremony. The ceremony was witnessed by members of the immediate families.

The bride was attired in a lilac tweed suit with mauve pink accessories and also wore a necklace and earrings, gifts of the groom. Her corsage consisted of white orchid and stephanotis. A pink topper was added for her wedding trip.

Mrs. Leroy Thede of Colby, a friend of the couple, served as matron of honor and wore a toast brown suit with cocoa accessories. She also wore a necklace and earrings, gifts of the bride. Her corsage consisted of garnet roses and stephanotis.

A 5:00 o’clock dinner was served at the Colby Hotel for close relatives and a reception was held in the evening.

The bride is employed by the White House Milk Co. in Abbotsford, Wis. The groom operates the Mid State Television Sales and Service and will move his office from Colby to Abbotsford, Wis.
