Smith, Leila (20 APR 1941)

Miss Leila Smith and L. G. Anderson both of Loyal were quietly married at 1 P. M. April 20, at the parsonage of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield. The Rev. G. M. Krueger performed the ceremony.

The bride, daughter of Mrs. Lavina Smith, Loyal, chose a powder blue street length dress with square neckline and shirred bodice. Her accessories were beige and she wore a shoulder corsage of pink and white carnations and sweet peas. Her attendant, Mrs. Karl Kuehmichel, wore an afternoon frock of clay grown with brown accessories. She wore a shoulder corsage of carnations similar to that of the bride’s.

Mr. Kuehmishel was the groom’s only attendant. Both wore conventional dark suits with carnation boutonnières.

A wedding dinner was served by the groom’s aunt, Mrs. Ole Jensen, at the Jensen home on Becker road.

The groom, son of the late Frank Anderson, attended Marshfield High School and is a well known mechanic. The bride, who attended Loyal High School, has been employed in Loyal and vicinity. They will make their home on the groom’s farm near Loyal.

Guests at the wedding were Mrs. Lavina Smith and son Dale, Loyal, Miss Juanita Smith, La Crosse, and Mr. and Mrs. Ole Johnson, Marshfield.

Their many friends wish them success and happiness in their marriage.
