Christofferson, Rickie (5 July 1876 - 27 Apr. 1952)

Mrs. H. H. Christofferson died at her home in Colby Sunday morning after an illness of several months at the age of 75 years. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Colby Wednesday morning, Rev. F. J. Smith officiating, and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were C. R. Whitney, Dr. W. Payne, Oscar Carlson, C. A. Nelsen, S. L. Loos and Frank Goeltz.

Rickie Christiansen was born in Racine on July 5, 1876, and married H. H. Christofferson on July 29, 1899, in Waupaca. They lived in St. Louis, Mo., where he attended medical college. After his graduation from the college, the couple located in Loyal in 1902 where he practiced five years ago but was engaged in other lines of business, including the automobile business.

Mrs. Christofferson is survived by her husband and one sister, Mrs. Sue Church of Chicago.

Mrs. Christofferson was of a congenial and friendly disposition so friendship’s circle to her was a large one. She will be remembered a long time by her many friends for her many good qualities. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
