Abbotsford, Wis. - Oct. 9, 1952

Dr. G. G. Shields has enrolled at the University of Minnesota and is working for a master’s degree in public health.

Mr. and Mrs. Morris Mator and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Merwin have returned from a two weeks’ trip to Seattle, Wash.

Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Fults spent several days in Milwaukee with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Fazin, and other relatives.

Miss Yvonne Uhlig left for Minneapolis where she is employed. Miss Donna Reinward is also employed in Minneapolis and the two girls are rooming together.

Mrs. M. C. Bunnell left Saturday for Stevens Point where she and Mrs. D. L. Smart will be guests for a week of Mr. C. C. Chapman and Mrs. Martha Hauden of Madison at their cottage on Lake Witter, near Wautoma.

John Hutt and Jack Stoda spent several days in Rice Lake.

James Vrana, Jr., returned to the home of his parents after a trip to points in Missouri, Colorado and Nebraska. Miss Hae Vrana of Chicago, Ill., also spent several days at the James Vrana home.

Mrs. Viola Rusk and Mrs. Clara Baehr left Friday for Chicago where they will spend the winter. Mrs. Rusk will stay with her daughter, Elanore, and Mrs. Baehr will assist at the Charles Landa home.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rappert of Menasha visited several days at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Steffen.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Toelle have moved into their new home on the west side of town. Mr. and Mrs. Len Colby and family have moved here from La Crosse and are residing in the residence vacated by the Toelles.

Mr. Herman Lapp returned home after spending two weeks in Gary, Ind., with his daughter, Mrs. Elmer Wordell.

Al Koenig of Marshfield purchased the Red and White store from Herbert Brandner and has taken possession.
