Schefsick, John (3 Apr. 1882 - 20 Mar. 1948)

John Schefsick of Abbotsford died of a heart ailment at his home in Abbotsford Saturday afternoon at the age of 66 years. Funeral services were held at 9:30 o’clock Tuesday morning at St. Bernard’s Catholic church, Rev. Francis J. Brockman officiating, and internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery. Pall bearers were Wm. Bogaard, Walter Jackson, T. Loos, Herman Johnson, Chas. Boyer and Ervin Bitters.

Mr. Schefsick was born on April 3, 1882. He was married to Amanda Gutwasser in July, 1917. They made their home on a farm between Dorchester and Abbotsford until 10 years ago when they moved to Abbotsford, Wisconsin. Mrs. Schefsick preceded her husband in death in 1941.

Surviving are an adopted son, Charles Flick of Colby, and three brothers and one sister - Frank, and Joseph Schefsick of Chippewa Falls, Elmer Schefsick of Los Angeles, Cal., and Mrs. Peter Beyerl of Colby, Wisconsin.
