Beyerl, Marie E. (Marriage - 9 June 1948)

Miss Marie E. Beyerl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beyerl and Herbert Waldhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Waldhart, exchanged marriage vows at St. Mary’s Catholic church Wednesday, June 9th, at 9 a.m., Rev. N. B. Beschta officiating at the ceremony. Bernice Burant of Stevens Point was maid of honor and Gertrude Beyerl of Chicago was the bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Walter Schuh, cousin of the bride, as best man and Melvin Bender, friend of the groom.

The bride was attired in a court entrained gown fashioned with white ninon over satin, sweetheart neckline and three clusters in front of buffet skirt, fingertip veil of silk illusion fastened to orange blossom tiara. Her shower bouquet consisted of white gladiolas with streamers. The maid of honor wore a dress of pink ninon over rayon taffeta and yellow skirt and her shower bouquet consisted of pink and white gladiolas. The bridesmaid wore a dress of blue ninon identical to that of the maid of honor and her shower bouquet consisted of salmon and white gladiolas.

A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents which was decorated with pink and white streamers with a white wedding bell.

The couple left on a wedding trip to the Yellowstone National park and will be at home in three weeks at Stetsonville where the groom is employed by the Handle Motor Co.
