Erickson, Elizabeth C. (22 MAR 1941)

Mrs. Melvin Erickson of Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.) announces the marriage of her daughter, Elizabeth Catherine Coan, to Louis Graham Gruzynski Jr. of Thorp (Clark Co.), who formerly was a resident of South Bend, Ind., on March 22, 1941, the marriage was solemnized the Monday after Easter by Father Esmond of St. Michael’s Catholic Church at Sioux City, Ia.

The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. John O’Neill, friends of the groom. A wedding breakfast followed at Hotel Warrior.

The bride was attired in a navy blue sheer jacket dress with navy accessories and a corsage bouquet of gardenias. The groom in the conventional black.

Mr. Gruzynski is employed in the chemistry department of the Frank Pilleys’ Co. at Sioux City, Ia.

The couple are at home to their many friends at the Argonaut apartments.

A lovely shower was given by a few of their most intimate friends at the Meadowview Country Club at Owen a week previous to their marriage and many beautiful gifts were received.

A farewell party was also given at Thorp by members of the office staff of the Blue Moon Cheese Co., where Miss Coan was employed and a gift certificate was present her as a farewell token.
