Bugar, Gisela & Ignatz (Divorce - Sept. 1948)

Green Grove Couple Is Granted Divorce

In the divorce action brought by Ignatz Bugar against Gisela Bugar, in circuit court at Neillsville, the court dismissed the complaint of the plaintiff and granted an absolute divorce to the defendant, Gisela Bugar, on grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment. Both are residents of the town of Green Grove.

Custody of two minor children was awarded Gisela Bugar, and for the youngest child, Donald, the plaintiff was ordered to pay $20 per month support.

No support money was ordered for the other minor child "until further order of the court." The plaintiff, Ignatz Bugar, was ordered to pay $7,500 to his former wife. Each is to have their personal effects.

Gisela Bugar was granted 40 days in which to leave the farm now occupied by both parties.
