The post office at Urquhart, Taylor county has been discontinued as a post office and all mail should be sent to Whittlesy. --H. Kronschnabl

Plans are now under way at Medford for the erection of a new five room school building by the Catholic congregation of that city.

Rev. Arntz of Tilden was in the city to-day. Father Arntz is busy these days arranging for the big picnic to be given on the fourth of July. –Chippewa Falls Independent.

Postmaster Kronschnabl was at Marshfield on Tuesday to be in attendance at the postmasters convention being held there.

Miss Olga Genrich left Wednesday evening for Milwaukee where she has secured a position for the summer.

Miss Sylvia Schafer was at Abbotsford between trains Thursday.
