Miller, Marie (15 Nov. 1860 - 16 June 1947)

Mrs. Marie Miller, age 86, who left Colby about 11 years ago and moved to Marshfield, was found dead in bed Monday morning at her home in Marshfield. She had been in poor health the past several years, due to old age complications, and it is believed death was due to a stroke. Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby Tuesday morning and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller was born in Germany Nov. 15, 1860, and came to the United States when she was about 30 years of age. Her husband, Frank Miller, preceded her in death June 21, 1928.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Fred (Mary) Weidman of Marshfield, Mrs. Joseph (Adelaide) Steinwagner of Marshfield, Route 3, and Mrs. Bernard (Martha) Bradenbach of Merrill. There are 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A daughter, Hildegarde, died when she was two years old.
