Good Old Days - Jan. 29, 2003

my grandfather Ellery Campbell was Brandons best friend and companion in the book Dub Of South Burlap. Mr Satterlee aka Dub changed the name of my family from Campbell to Bell. Harvey Campbell and his wife Josephine Miller Campbell are Harvey and Mrs. Bell in the book their son Ellery my grandfather is Chum Bell in the book. I have supporting documents about my family. Josephine was a very prominent Native American Indian, as Brandon stated in his book she is from the S'Klallam/Clallam Tribe. Her mother was S'nana'y',aka Sybil Miller , the long house/community center at the Skokomish Reservation to this day is named The House of S'nana'y'. The death of Harvey in Brandons book matches the obituary of my great grandfather Harvey Campbell. I would like to thank Brandon for writting this but I know I can't but I would like to meet someone from his family to share our stories and continue a freindship started over a century ago

Blessings, Jim and Liz
