Bakke, Mathilda (6 Feb. 1880 - 5 Sept. 1925)

OBITUARY

Mrs. Albert Bakke was born in Guderans, Dalen, Norway Feb. 6, 1880 and passed away at her home Sept. 5th, 1925 after a lingering illnesses of over two years.

She came to this country when a young lady and was married to Albert Bakke at Minneapolis in 1907. A couple of years later they came to live on the farm at Midway, which has since been their home. She leaves to mourn her husband and four children, Edna 17, Arnold 16, Norman 14, and Margaret 12 and her aged mother, Mrs. Ever Erickson.

The deceased was a kind and loving mother and good Christian and an untiring worker in the Norwegian Lutheran Church of which she was a member.

The beautiful floral offerings showed the high respect she held in the community and a host of sorrowful friends extends their deepest sympathy to the mourning ones.

The funeral was held Tuesday P.M. from the Lutheran church. Rev. O. C. Odden pastor of the church officiating and used as his subject this text, "Come unto me all ye that are heavy laden and I will give you rest."
