Becken, Joyce (Marriage - 2 Nov. 1946)

Miss Joyce Becken, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Halvef Becken, and Lavern Kauffmann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kauffmann, exchanged marriage vows Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents, Rev. M. C. Goetsch reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Lucile Fink attended the bride and the groom was attended by Jimmy.

The bride was attired in a white satin gown, net over skirt and finger tip veil. Her bouquet consisted of white mums. Miss Fink wore a blue dress and her shoulder corsage consisted of red roses.

A reception was given 30 guests at the home of the bride’s parents, and, in the evening, a dance was given at Atwood.

The couple will make their home at Abbotsford, Wis. The groom is employed at the construction of the new Harmony building in Colby, Wis.
