Frank, Rosella (16 NOV 1940)

A quiet wedding service read at the home of the bride amid a colorful setting of decorations of blue and white streamers was the setting Saturday afternoon, Nov. 16, 1940, when Rosella May Frank, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Frank of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), and Edward J. Awe of Green Grove (Clark Co.) were united in a nuptial service. The nuptial rites were read by Rev. W.P.D. Powe, pastor of the Owen Congregational Church.

The bride was dressed in a gown of brown crepe and carried a yellow bouquet. Her bridesmaid Gertha Awe, a sister of the groom, wore a green dress with brown accessories.

Lewis Frank, a brother of the bride, , attended the groom.

A dinner was later given at the home of the bride for their immediate relatives and friends.

Each of the young people attended the Owen schools and have a large number of friends who wish them unlimited happiness in their new home which they will make at Sunnyvale, Calif., where the groom has employment.
