Fricke, Nora (24 Aug. 1876 - 10 Dec. 1945)

Mrs. Fred Fricke died early Monday morning of a heart attack at her home in Colby, Wisconsin at the age of 69 years. Funeral services will be conducted this Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Lulloff Funeral Home, where the body is lying in state, and at 2:00 o’clock at the Methodist church, Rev. M. B. Ferguson officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby cemetery.

Mrs. Fricke, the former Nora Demand, was born at Sheboygan Falls on August 24, 1876, and was married March 8, 1904, at the Demand homestead in the town of Hull, Wis. She and her husband lived on a farm in the town of Hull until about three years ago when they retired and moved to the city of Colby, Wis.

Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Miss Esther Dean Fricke of Chicago, Ill., and two brothers, Harry Demand of Abbotsford and Leo Demand of Cleveland, Ohio.

The deceased was well and favorably known in Colby and Cherokee and her many friends were shocked to hear of her departure. She was of a kind and congenial disposition, always endeavoring to do her duties to the best of her ability.
