NEILLSVILLE -- Priscilla "Penny" Bruner, 50, died Monday, March 20, 2006, at her home in Neillsville, Wis.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2006, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville, Wis. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2006, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis.

Penny was born June 29, 1955, in Chicago, the daughter of Cecil and Elizabeth (Montgomery) Johnson. She married John Mark Bruner on Jan. 20, 1973, in Fairfax, Va. Mark and Penny moved to Neillsville in 1976. She worked with her husband at Marty's Supermarket and managed the garden center every spring for over 20 years.

Surviving are her husband, Mark; daughter, Christina (Chad) Ableidinger, Eau Claire; son, Tracy Bruner, Eagan, Minn.; and three grandchildren. She is also survived by six brothers and two sisters, Bruce (Carolyn) Johnson, Owen, Pat Friedenfels, Abbotsford, Bill (Evon) Johnson, Withee, Bob (Connie) Johnson, Virginia, Bud (Marcia) Johnson, Milwaukee, Guy (Barb) Johnson, Abbotsford, Ginny (Dave) Grove and Paul (Julie) Johnson, all of Florida.
