A very pretty wedding took place when Miss Kathleen Kramas and Mr. Harry Kophamer were married at 10 o’clock on Wednesday, May 29th, 1940 by the Rev. J. Collins at St. Sylvester’s Church in Chicago.

The bride wore a beautiful white embossed marquisette gown with a long train and a lace edged veil. She carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas with a gorgeous orchid in the center. The groom and Paul Kramas, his best man, wore snappy oxford grey suits.

The bridesmaid was Miss Ruth Kuetterer and Miss Dolores Kramas, the maid of honor, also wore flowered embossed marquisette gowns in white background with the flowers painted in their natural colors.

They carried bouquets of variety of garden mixture flowers matching their gowns and wore pretty marquisette and carried a colonial bouquet of garden mixture flowers.

The bride’s Godchild, little Elizabeth Ann Kramas, was dressed in a all ruffled white marquisette and carried a colonial bouquet of garden mixture flowers.

Mr. Joseph Kramas, the bride’s eldest brother, gave her away.

Miss Bernice Kophamer sang the ever beautiful Ave Maria during the mass.

A pretty breakfast was served to the immediate family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Gadlewski, a sister of the bride.

A bountiful supper and the reception to relatives and friends was held at Biesiadas Hall with everyone reporting a good time.

The bride and groom left on a honeymoon with everyone wishing them happiness and success. They will make their home in Chicago, where the groom is employed.
