Siegert, Grace A. (Marriage - 8 March 1943)

Miss Grace A. Siegert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Siegert, Dorchester, Wis., and Frank A. Duellman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Duellman, Abbotsford, Wis., were united in marriage at nine a.m. march 8, the Rev. Phillip T. Weller, pastor of the St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, performing the single-ring ceremony. The children’s choir sang mass.

A reception, which was held at the home of the bride’s parents, followed the service. The home decorations were pink and white streamers and white bells. Fifty guests were in attendance.

The bride was attired in a gown of white satin with lace insertion, the full skirt, ending in a train, also was trimmed with a lace insert and a sweetheart neckline. She wore a pearl headdress and carried pink roses.

Miss Loretta Siegert, a sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. She wore a gown of pink taffeta, fashioned with a full skirt, net insertion, sweetheart neckline and short, puffed sleeves. Her headdress was made up of rosebuds and pink net and her bouquet consisted of pink roses and white carnations.

Paul Duellman, a brother of the groom, was best man.

The bride’s mother was dressed in blue, ensemble style, the groom’s mother wearing black. Both wore sweet pea corsages.

A wedding reception was given for the bride couple, dinner and supper being served for immediate relatives, with a dance in the evening at the Dorchester recreational hall.

The groom is a truck driver, employed by Kriplean Bros. of Owen, Wis. The couple announced their home open to friends after March 15, at Abbotsford, Wis.

Out of town guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Dale Strean and family, West Bend, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Al Doran, Appleton; Mrs. Mildred Denzine, Miss Vivian Empey and Mr. and Mrs. Armon Duellman, all of Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gierl and Mr. and Mrs. Matt Orth, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Seidel, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Duellman, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Weldon and family and Paul Duellman, all of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hollman, Dorchester and Mr. and Mrs. Art. Bub and family, Milan.
