Mr. Schroeder has been a resident of this community for the past 30 years, making his living on the farm and doing carpenter work. He was born in Milwaukee on June 9, 1882.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mildred, and nine children, Mrs. Freda Wilkins of Chicago; Mrs. Elma Scheel, Mrs. Norma Hoemer, the Misses Florine, Mae, Janice and Alice Schroeder, all of Owen; Albert Schroeder, Detroit; Herman Schroeder of Los Angeles; and two grandchildren, Robert Scheel and Joan Hoemer of Owen, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 14, from the Griebenow Funeral Home. Interment will be made in the Green Grove Cemetery. The Rev. W.P.D. Powe will officiate at the service.

Friends of Mr. Schroeder and his family are grieved to hear of his sudden departure from these earthly things and express their deepest and sincerest sympathy to the family.
