Friday of last week Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyers of the Town of Green Grove observed their 60th wedding anniversary. The occasion was not celebrated Friday in that the couple and their children had observed the occasion earlier in the fall on Sept. 24th, when it was then possible for all of their children to be at home with them.

Mr. Meyers was born on Jan. 1, 1855, in New York State and is now 84 years of age. Mrs. Meyers is 79 and was born in Sheboygan Co.

Of their family of ten children only six remain, five daugthers and one son, namely, Herbert Meyers, Town of Green Grove; Mrs. R.H. Sampe, Vincennes, Ind.; Mrs. Lillian Botterud, Livingston, Mont.; Mrs. Otto Schulte, Town of Green Grove; Mrs. George Gebhardt, Milwaukee; and Mrs. John Satler, Wis. Rapids. There are 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
