Klocke, Henrietta (18 Feb. 1897 - 7 Mar. 1941)

Funeral services for Mrs. Reinhold Klocke, age 44, of Curtiss, who died from a stroke Friday morning at the Marshfield hospital, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Kraut Funeral Home at Dorchester and at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran church at Curtiss, Wis. Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiated and burial was made in the Pine Hill cemetery, Curtiss, Wis. Since suffering a stroke several years ago, she was in poor health. She became more seriously ill two weeks ago and suffered another stroke and then entered the Marshfield hospital.

Mrs. Klocke, nee Henrietta Lipka, was born in Pittsville Feb. 18, 1897, and was married there to Reinhard Klocke on Sept. 22, 1915. She was reared on a farm near Pittsville, but, since her marriage, had lived on a farm two and one-half miles north of Curtiss, Wis.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Art (Lorraine) Peissig of Barrington, Ill., and Mrs. Larry (Louise) Nelson at home; two grand children; five sisters, Mrs. Ernest Kroll and Mrs. Clarence Henke, both of Wisconsin Rapids; Mrs. Emil Krueger of Pittsville, Mrs. Elmer Wolters of Port Edwards, Mrs. Theo. Schauer of Wisconsin Rapids; four brothers, Adam Lipka, Jr., of Marshfield, Emil Lipka of Beloit, Carl Lipka of Prairie du Sac, Donald Lipka of Port Edwards, and her father, Adam Lipka, Sr., of Pittsville.

A daughter, Adeline, died at the age of one year and nine months, a brother died in Marshfield in 1939 and her mother died seven years ago.

Mrs. Klocke was a member of the Ladies’ Aid Society of St. Paul’s Lutheran church and members of that society sang "God Will Be With You Till We Meet Again" at the services. A quartet composed of Mrs. George Hoff, Mrs. Amelia Neitsch, Mrs. Fred Pudlas and Mrs. Alfred Thompson sang "Some Day Will Understand" and "A? in Jesus" with Mrs. M. C. Goetsch at the organ.
