Garbusch, Annabelle L. (Marriage - 1942)

Mrs. Gladys Garbusch and her son-in-law and daughter, Private and Mrs. George Anding, drove up from Tomah Monday on business. Mrs. Garbusch, who is working at Tomah, had rented her home here to Mr. and Mrs. Harold O’Brien.

Miss Annabelle L. Garbusch, Neillsville, and Priv. George H. Anding, son of Frank Anding, of the town of Lynn, recently were married in the chapel at New Camp McCoy by Lt. Col. Arthur Frederick Ewert, Post Chaplain, the double-ring ceremony being used.

Mrs. May McCoy and Mrs. Arthur Ewert, and Pfc. Anthony J. Zak and Pfc. Wilbur E. Briggs acted as witnesses.

The bride was attired in a wool beige suit with tan accessories, the groom and his attendants wearing their army suits. Miss Barbara Brown played ‘The Bells of St. Mary’s and several other selections."

After the pretty, though simple ceremony, the bride and groom and her mother, Mrs. Gladys Garbusch, had supper at a café and later attended a show on the camp ground.
