Eder, Beatrice (Marriage - 12 Aug. 1940)

(The Gregory Times-Advocate, S.D.)

Miss Beatrice Eder of Colby, Wis., and Mr. Paul DeCaire of Houghton, Mich., were united in marriage at 7 o’clock Monday morning at St. Joseph’s church by Rev. R. J. Kelly. A number of friends of the young couple attended the nuptial mass.

Miss Susie Marx played the wedding march as the young couple and their attendants, Miss Evelyn Landrigan and Mr. Chesley Farrell of Cavour, S. D. entered the church and advanced to the altar.

The bride is a laboratory and X-ray technician and came to Gregory from Estelline, S. Dak., and spent a month here previous to her marriage.

The groom is a mechanic for the Gustafson Construction Co., and was in Gregory for several months during construction of highway 18 between the west Gregory county line and Burke.

During their stay in Gregory the young couple formed the acquaintance of a number of friends who wish them happiness and success.

Mr. and Mrs. DeCaire left Gregory immediately after the ceremony to make their home in Wagner during the time Mr. DeCaire is employed as mechanic on the highway construction between Lake Andes and Wagner.
