Josephine E. Perovsek was born on March 8, 1915, in Willard, to Frank Sr. and Mary (nee Blatnik) Perovsek. She was raised on the family farm and received her education at the North Willard School. The family prefers memorials be given to the Holy Family Parish Endowment Fund, Willard.
