Mittlesteadt, Betsy (Jan. 1857 - 12 Jan. 1940)

Mrs. Albert Mittlesteadt died Friday evening, Jan. 12, at her home in Abbotsford at the age of 81 years, pneumonia being the cause of her death. Funeral services were held at the Zink funeral home in Abbotsford Tuesday afternoon, Rev. E. J. Hoover, pastor of the Presbyterian church officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery.

Mrs. Mittlesteadt, nee Betsy Damp, was born in Lowell, Dodge county, in January, 1857. She was married in Watertown to Albert Mittlesteadt who survives. For the past 19 years she had made her home in Abbotsford, Wis.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Mead, Milwaukee, three sons, Earl, Billings, Mont., and Lester and Sylvester, Abbotsford; one grand child; one sister, Mrs. Emily Gore, Beaver Dam; and one brother, Peter Damp, Lake Mills.
