Fritsch, Theresa (Marriage - 2 Dec. 1939)

When Miss Theresa Fritsch, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Fritsch, Dorchester, Wisconsin, became the bride of Clayton Rahn, Curtiss, Saturday morning, she wore a street-length dress of wine crepe. It was designed in bolero style, with Persian lamb trimming. She completed her attire with black accessories and a wine-colored velvet turban. She carried a shoulder corsage of baby chrysanthemums and a prayer book.

Miss Wanda Rahn, Curtiss, a sister of the bridegroom, attended as maid of honor, wore teal-blue crepe, with black accessories, and a shoulder bouquet of baby chrysanthemums. Arthur Fritsch, Dorchester, brother of the bride, was best man.

The Rev. Phillip Weller read the nuptial mass at St. Louis Catholic church in Dorchester, and the school choir provided the nuptial music.

An informal reception for the immediate families and a few friends was held throughout the day at the Fritsch home, which was decorated in blue and white, and a dinner and supper were served, with covers laid for 35. Alvin Krause, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rahn and Albert Rahn, Curtiss, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Noble, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Luczak and Miss Margaret Frisch, Fond du Lac, Irvin Fritsch, Lomira, Miss Ruth Bauer, Medford, and Mrs. Florence Neitzel, Owen, were out-of-town guests. A wedding dance was given in the evening at Hinke’s hall in Dorchester, Wis.
