Zimmerman, John G. (19 Dec. 1911 - 21 Oct. 2004)

John G. Zimmerman, 92 of Oshkosh, died Thursday Oct. 21, 2004 at his residence. He was born on December 19, 1911 in Unity, Wisconsin a son of Rev. Ethan and Emma Baum Zimmerman. On January 6, 1949 he married Edith (Johnson) Van Loo in Unity Wi. She preceded him in death on Sept. 5, 1999.

He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps, serving in W.W.II, a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and a life member of the DAV.

He is survived by two sons William (Becky) Zimmerman, Wayne (Deborah) Zimmerman all of Oshkosh, one step-son Gaylord (Diane) Van Loo of Neenah, two brothers, four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren and one great-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Private family services will be held.
