Richelieu, Hazel (5 DEC 1938)

A quiet wedding was solemnized Monday at Dubuque, Iowa, when Miss Hazel Richelieu, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Richelieu of this city, and Mr. Allen C. Altenburg of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage. The couple were attended only by the bride’s sister, Miss Grace Richelieu.

Mrs. Altenburg for the past number of years has been in the employ of the Owen box & Crating Co. as stenographer, and is one of the city’s most popular young ladies. She has been prominent in the social set, and with her fine personality has won for herself many friends.

Mr. Altenburg is one of the leading businessmen of Withee, having been in the garage business there for a number of years, and is the local dealer for Ford cars. He is a man of high character, and has won for himself a high place in the business life of the community.

Mr. and Mrs. Altenburg have taken up their residence in Owen, having rented the home recently vacated by Mr. Goneau. Their numerous friends here and at Withee have only the best wishes for a happy wedded life.
