Lorraine Florence Lisiecki was born on January 17, 1922 in Chicago, IL to Florian and Valeria (Ogurek) Lisiecki. As a young child, Lorraine’s family moved to the Lublin area where she was raised and educated. She was united in marriage to Chester Kwiesielewicz on November 27, 1941 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin. They farmed in the Lublin area until 1975. After retiring from the farm, Lorraine worked at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, Wis. Chester later passed away on January 25, 1987. After Chester’s death, Lorraine continued to live on the family farm until moving to her home in the Village of Lublin in 1999, where she resided until her death.

Lorraine had many interests, but she loved to read, sing, and be with her family. She was a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, its choir and it’s PCCW. She was also a member of the Holy Rosary Polka Choir of Owen, the Lublin Homemakers, the eastern European Cultural Society, the Community Choir of Gilman for many years, and the Lublin American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her seven children: Joanne (Stan) Wargolet of Three Lakes, WI, Anthony (Sue) Kwiesielewicz of Mosinee, WI, Valrie (Steven) Demuth of Wausau, WI, Cynthia (Ted) Wojcik of Gilman, WI, Chester (Nancy) Kwiesielewicz of Merrill, WI, Loralee (Randy) Madlon of Lublin, WI, and Annie Roy of Wausau, WI; eleven grand-children: Nicole, Tracy, Derek, Shannon, Erin, Tyler, Katelyn, Rebecca, Andrew, Mitchell, and Abbey; six great-grand-children: Sadie, Lincoln, Megan, Hannah, Hayden and McKinely; one sister, Bernice Wilczak of Gilman, WI; and one son-in heart, Greg Roy of Wausau, WI.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chester and one brother Robert Lisiecki.

Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Valrie (Steven) Demuth of WAUKAU and NOT Wausau.    Waukau, Wisconsin is located 10 miles west of Oshkosh, WI.  It is a REAL town!
