Runzheiner, Anita (Marriage - 8 June 1937)

A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the Zion Ev. Lutheran church Tuesday, June 8th, at 2:30 P.M., Rev. O. Hoffmann reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Anita Runzheimer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Runzheimer, became the bride of Mr. Erwin Weller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Weller. Tillie Weller and Lorinda Parsch acted as bridesmaids and Litta Runzheimer was maid of honor. The groom was attended by Reinhardt Wiersig, William Mueller and Walter Runzheimer.

The bride was attired in a beautiful floor length dress of white satin with a long tulle veil arranged in cap effect and trimmed with seed pearls. Her bouquet consisted of roses, sweet peas, lily of the valleys and ferns. The bridesmaids wore dresses of aquamarine chiffon and green muslin du seine and their bouquets consisted of mixed flowers and ferns. The maid of honor wore a dress of peach taffeta and her bouquet also consisted of mixed flowers and ferns.

A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride, the home being nicely decorated with white, peach and green streamers for the occasion.

The newlyweds left on a trip to Chicago and other points and will be at home after July 1st on a farm at Colby.
