Subke, Emma L. (11 NOV 1937)

Miss Emma Louise Subke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Subke, former resident of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), now of Chippewa Falls, was wedded to William J. Wyckoff a week ago today, at seven o’clock in the evening at the home of her parents. The service was performed in a settling of white chrysanthemums, by the Rev. Carl Norgaard, of Our Savior’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Chippewa Falls.

The bride was gowned in her mother’s wedding dress of ivory satin and veil. She also wore a chain and cross that had been her grandmother’s and carried an arm bouquet of Shirley Temple roses and white chrysanthemums. The groom, and the best man, his brother, George of Seattle, Wash., were dressed in dark suits.

Following the wedding an informal reception was held at the bride’s home for 30 guests. Mr. and Mrs. Wyckoff immediately left on a wedding trip through the southern part of the state.
