Arneson, Mattie (1861? - 5 May 1945)

Curtiss - Services were conducted Tuesday, May 8, at Evangelical Lutheran Church for Mrs. Mattie Arneson, 84, Minneapolis, a former resident of Curtiss, who died Saturday, May 5, at the home of her son, Albert, with whom she had been living.

The Rev. G. E. Borreson officiated at the funeral rites, and burial took place in the family lot in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Arneson, nee Rasmussen, was married to Armund Arneson in 1884, and they lived in Curtiss until 1913 when they moved to Abbotsford, leaving from there for Minneapolis. Her husband died in 1930.

Surviving are four sons, John and Albert Arneson, Minneapolis, and Melvin and Louis Arneson, St. Paul; and two daughters, Mrs. Clara Peterson, Bend, Ore., and Mrs. Stella Ross, Minneapolis.
