Duellman, Marcella (Marriage - 12 Sept. 1936)

A very pretty wedding took place Saturday, September 12th, at 8:30 A.M. at Abbotsford, Rev. Novak reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Marcella Duellman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Duellman, became the bride of Mr. Leonard Beissel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Beissel of Abbotsford, Wis. Dorothy Duellman, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by his brother, George Beissel.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white satin with train, turban cap with pearls and finger tip veil. The bridesmaid wore a dress of deep iris celanese taffeta.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with white and deep iris trimmings for the occasion. The newlyweds left on a wedding trip to the northern part of the state and will be at home after September 20, at Hamsay, Michigan, where the groom is employed as machinist with the Packard Mather Co.

Out of town people present for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Beissel, Sr., Grace Beissel, Clarence Beissel and Ray Rogona of Ramsay, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Beissel and daughter, Joan, of Ironwood, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Peil and son, Billy, of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. John Brill and daughters, of Cherokee, Mrs. Rose Thorn and daughters, Clara and Florence, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gierl and children and Mr. Louis Gierl of Colby.
