Lulloff, Margaret G. (Marriage - 17 June 1936)

A very pretty wedding took place at Zion Ev. Lutheran church Wednesday, June 17th, at 4:00 P.M., Rev. O. Hoffmann reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Margaret G. Lulloff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Lulloff, became the bride of Mr. Woodrow E. Tesmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Tesmer. Misses LaVern Tesmer and Marie Baumgart acted as bridesmaids and Miss Evelyn Kraspe of Cochrane, Wis., was maid of honor. Mr. Arlando Sauer of Brillion, Wis., was best man and Arthur Tesmer and H. Behning of Milwaukee, Wis., were the groomsmen. The bride was given in marriage by her father, F. W. Lulloff. The wedding march was played by Miss Rena Bauer of Colby and the music used for the processional was the wedding march from Lohengrin and the recessional was Mendelsohn’s wedding march. The solo before the ceremony, "At Dawning," was sung by Miss Lorraine Riplinger, accompanied by Miss Viola Marsh.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white satin with train, the neckline trimmed with seed pearls. Her fingertip veil was designed in halo effect and adorned with orange blossoms. Her bouquet consisted of calla lilies. The bridesmaids’ dresses were of pale pink mouseline de soie with gloves and hat and their arm bouquets consisted of pink and white roses. The maid of honor’s dress was of pale blue mouseline de soie with gloves and hat and her arm bouquet consisted of pale pink roses. The church and residence were nicely decorated with pink and white cut flowers.

A dinner for the wedding party and immediate families was served at the Hotel Robinson.

The newlyweds will make a wedding trip to the Pacific coast and will be at home after August 1st.

The bride is a graduate of Lawrence Conservatory of Music at Appleton and had been English instructor at Owen, Wis. The groom is a graduate of Central State Teachers’ College at Stevens Point and had been band instructor at Kiel the past year.
