North Grand Ave - by Mrs. Ole Lowe

Nickie and Howard Voss of Sheboygan were visitors at the F. O. Kuester home last Tuesday and Oliver Butler of Westfield was a visitor at the Kuester home Thursday and Friday.

Mrs. Fred Appleyard has been ill with mumps the past week. Mrs. Henry Markwardt has been helping in caring for her and looking after the family.

Henry Markwardt came home from the north woods Wednesday evening. The log hauling is about over for this season because of the breaking up of the roads.

Miss Vivian Radka, who is employed at Loyal, spent the weekend at home.

Mrs. John Gullikson and Mrs. Frank Radka called on Mrs. Inga Paulsrude last Monday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Davey, who had been to Manitowoc, stopped here to call on her sister, Mrs. Arthur Gress, last Tuesday afternoon. They were on their way home to Eau Claire.

Miss Dorothy Ferguson took her sister, Mrs. Opal Froehlick and children to Shortville to spend Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ferguson.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hagedorn and son, Raimon, spent Sunday afternoon with her mother, Mrs. Elsie Gress.

Mr. and Mrs. Ole Lowe went to Eau Claire Saturday afternoon on the midnight train Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tews took her mother, Mrs. Amelia Oehlke, who has been spending some time with them, back to her home at Neshkora Sunday.
