Cattanach, Irene Louie (25 Aug. 1922 - 4 Apr. 1998)

Neillsville - Irene Louie (nee Papierniak) Cattanach, 75, Neillsville, died April 4, 1998, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit in Marshfield.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis.

She was born Aug. 25, 1922, in Thorp. She had been employed by the Thorp Post Office.

Irene is survived by her five sons, Robert (Terry) Cattanach Jr. of St. Paul, Minn., Doug (Heidi) Cattanach of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mark (Barb) Cattanach of Neillsville, Curt Cattanach of Wauwatosa and Todd Cattanach of Marshfield; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy (Gilbert) Pitt of Delafield and Judith (Harold) Koslo of Germantown; and two brothers, Louis Papierniak of Thorp and Donald (Beverly) Papierniak of Pagosa Springs, Colo.
