Ringquist, Eleanor (Marriage - 16 June 1926)

A very pretty wedding took place last Wednesday June 16th, at Marshfield, when Eleanor Ringquist, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Ringquist was united in marriage to Mr. Andrew Johnson son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Johnson of the town of Unity.

The bride was attired in a white crepe dress trimmed with princess lace and a veil. She carried a large bouquet. The groom was attired in a striped blue suit.

The bride was attended by Miss Gladys Safemaster, a cousin, and the groom was attended by a younger brother, Alfred.

At the home of the bride’s parents at seven o’clock the wedding dinner was served to a large number of relatives and friends. After the wedding feast the remainder of the evening was spent in dancing and playing games. About on hundred and fifty people were present.

The bride and groom were the recipients of many beautiful and useful presents.

Friday morning, the happy couple left on a wedding trip through the southern part of the state and after their return will be at home to their many friends on the farm belonging to the groom in the town of Unity.

The out of town people that attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Ole Ringquist of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Burnett and daughter of Menasha, Mrs. Dallman of Milwaukee, Mrs. Theodore Flink, Milwaukee, Mrs. Ruth Johnson of Chicago, Mr. Carl Melgren of Madison, Mrs. Herman Uecker and son of Milwaukee.
