Hoffmann, Harold G. (21 June 1903 - 10 July 1935)

Harold G. Hoffmann, age thirty-two, died of tuberculosis at the home of his parents at Abbotsford Wednesday afternoon, July 10. Masonic funeral rites were held Saturday afternoon. Rev. L. C. Smith acted as officiating clergyman at the church services at the Presbyterian church and internment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery. Pall bearers were Benjamin Wing, Harry T. Ketcham, Wilbur Kuehnast, Harold Crane of Manawa, Herbert Bearns of Dorchester and Anthony Henlick of Curtiss, Wis. Flowers were in charge of thirty members of the Eastern Star and the Misses Norma and Irene Roth and Mrs. Arson Adams. Fifty-seven members of the Masonic Order of Abbotsford, Curtiss, Medford, Owen and Colby had charge of the funeral services at the grave.

Mr. Hoffmann was born in Stevens Point on June 21, 1903, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoffmann. He was graduated from the Abbotsford, Wis. High school in 1922 and attended the Wausau business institute during 1922. Mr. Hoffmann was a member of the Presbyterian church and was affiliated with the Masonic lodge and the Modern Woodmen of America. His parents survive him.
