Aden, Donald (27 Aug. 1930 - 16 Aug. 2007)

Donald Ray Aden, 76, of Greenwood, died Aug. 16, 2007, at Saint Joseph's Hospital.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 27, at Cuddie Funeral Home in Greenwood.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Aug. 27 at the funeral home.

He was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Fonda, Iowa, to Reamer A. and Martha A. (Johnson) Aden. He entered the U.S. Army in February 1952, where he served overseas in Korea for 12 months as a mechanic at an air field. Don was honorably discharged in November 1953. He was united in marriage to Mary Margaret Otteson at St. Patrick's on the Lizard Catholic Church in Clare, Iowa, on June 23, 2954. Don served as a mechanic with Gross Motors in Neillsville, Mathy Construction in La Crosse, Gaier Construction in Neillsville, Svetlick Ford Garage in Neillsville and Nelson Muffler in Neillsville, Wis. He retired in October of 1989, moving to Greenwood in 1995 on a small farm.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Margaret, of Greenwood; two daughters: Lynnette (Frank) Quinter, of Greenwood and Loni (Richard) Paquette of Stoughton; four sons: Donald L. (Jean) of Sun Prairie, Mark L. of Willard, Kevin J. of Columbus and William J. (Linda) of Spencer; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one sister: Shirley (Al) Faber, of Johnston, Iowa.
