Orth, Violeta (Marriage - 29 Aug. 1933)

A very pretty wedding took place at the St. Anthony Catholic church at Loyal, Wis., Tuesday, August 29, at 7:30 a.m., Rev. Aurit reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Violeta Orth, became the bride of Mr. Vern Luepke, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Luepke of Loyal. Miss Alice Orth, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and the groom was attended by Edward Davel.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of olive green satin with brown accessories and her bouquet consisted of tea roses. The bridesmaid wore a dress of brown crepe and her corsage consisted of tea roses.

After the marriage ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to intimate relatives at the home of the bride’s parents at Colby after which the newlyweds left on a honeymoon trip to Northern Wisconsin. They will make their home at Loyal and will be at home after September 1st.

The bride had been stenographer at the canning factory in Colby the past four years and is a graduate of the Colby, Wis. High school.
