Mrs. James W. Taylor died at the Luther Hospital, Eau Claire, Monday morning, following a week’s illness of peritonitis. For the past year or more Mr. and Mrs. Taylor have been making their home on a farm near Redwood Falls, Minn., and came to the Eau Claire institution seeking relief from her illness. She was 44 years of age, and leaves to mourn, besides her husband, one son and one daughter.

Mrs. Taylor for several years owned and operated the store at Wolter’s Corners, southwest of the village of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and it was only a little more than a year ago that she was united in marriage.

Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon from the Wolter’s Corners Chapel with the Rev. W.P. Powell, pastor of the Congregational Church of Owen officiating, and burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.

The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of a large number of relatives and friends.

Olga Wolter was born May 2, 1890, at Fall River, Wis. At the age of nine years she came with her parents to a farm near Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).

She was married to Oliver Emmerson on March 24, 1910. To this union two children were born, Walter, age 22, and Loraine, age 17.

Mr. Emmerson passed away in Jan. 1924. On Sept. 30, 1933, she was married to James Taylor, after which they, with the children, moved to Redwood Falls, Minn.

Last week she submitted to an operation at Eau Claire and passed away at two a.m., Monday, Oct. 15, 1934.

Besides her husband and two children there are left to mourn her loss, her mother, Mrs. Margaret Wolter, six sisters, Mrs. H.F. Mann (Lillian) of Fox Lake, Mrs. H.C. Malcolm (Minnie) of Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Bertha Jones of whitewater, Mrs. Lyn Hodnett (Esther), Mrs. Sam Hagen (Elda) of Withee, Mrs. O.N. Christenson (Viola) of Stanley. Two brothers, Edward of Spokane, Wash., and Hugo of Withee. All of whom were present except Minnie and Edward of Spokane.
