Tesmer, Louise (SEP 1934)

Miss Louise Tesmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Tesmer, Colby, was united in marriage to Harry Thieme, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thieme, town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), at the home of the bride’s parents, Rev. M.C. Goetsch officiating.

The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Esther Tesmer, as maid of honor and Miss Florence Singstock, a cousin, served as bridesmaid. Franklin Thieme and Arnold Stephens attended the groom.

The bride was attired in a brown crepe dress trimmed with pink, with shoulder bouquet of baby’s breath and asters. Miss Tesmer and Miss Singstock wore green crepe dresses and their shoulder bouquets were sweet peas and roses.

A reception and supper followed the ceremony, covers being laid for 50. The rooms were trimmed with white and yellow streamers and garden flowers.

In the evening further festivities were carried out at Wiedenhoeft’s pavilion.
