Hyslip, Benjamin (1859 - 1885)

Terrible Accident

Last Saturday, Mr. Benjamin Hyslip, while at work in the Redmond saw-mill between this city and Greenwood, was caught in the line shaft, and rapidly whirled round and round, horribly mangling him, and resulting in instant death. We have not the full particulars at hand at this writing. Mr. Hyslip was about 25 or 26 years old, and a well known and greatly respected young man. He was married, and leaves a wife and two children.
