An August 10 wedding is being for Linda Mae Cram and Richard A. Weis. A June 8 wedding is being planned for Lori Kay Kronberger and Timothy Tresemer. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kronberger, 18098 Pitcher St., Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Tresemer, Rt. 4 Neillsville. The bride-to-be is a 1983 graduate of Neillsville High School and is employed as secretary-bookkeeper at Wayne’s Agri-Fix. Tim is a 1979 graduate of the same high school and is employed as a home energy inspector for the Clark County Weatherization Department.

Schmidt, Lona Lynn (Engagement - 1984)

The engagement of Lona Lynn Schmidt to Jay Dee Stump was recently announced. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Norman Schmidt, Rt. 1 Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Stump, Loyal. The bride-to-be is a 1984 graduate of Loyal High School and is employed in the customer’s service department of Figi’s, Inc., Marshfield. The groom-to-be is a 1980 graduate of Greenwood High School and is self-employed as a cattle-fitter. No wedding date has been set.

Graf, Susan (13 October 1984)

Susan Graf of Brookfield and Neil Swenson of Fridley, Minnesota, were united in marriage on October 13. The Rev. Carl Lund officiated at the Redemption Lutheran Church services in Wauwatosa. Parents of the couple are George and Pat Graf of Brookfield and Cal and Fern Swenson, Neillsville.

Jami McCowen, a friend of the bride from Milwaukee, was maid of honor. She was joined by Julie Schappe, a friend from Milwaukee; and Donna Matz, a friend from Denver, Colorado. Flower girl was Kari Swenson, the groom’s niece of Milwaukee.

Serving as bestman was Bill John, a friend of the groom from Corpus Christie, Texas. He was joined by Mark Swenson of Milwaukee and David Swenson of Beaumont, Texas; both are brothers of the groom. Ring bearer was Nathan Swenson, the groom’s nephew of Westfield, and Chuck Graf, the bride’s brother of Brookfield.

Following the service a reception was held at Meuer’s in West Allis. The couple took a honeymoon to California.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Swenson are making their home in Fridley, Minnesota. She has a 1983 bachelor’s degree from UW-Stout. He is a Neillsville High School graduate and in 1982 earned a bachelor's degree from UW-Eau Claire.

Pohle, Deborah A. (15 December 1984)

The mother of the bride’s home at 1400 Grand Ave., Neillsville, served as the site for the Saturday afternoon, December 15, wedding of Deborah A. Pohle and Kevin Hendrickson. The Rev. Howard Ott of the Neillsville United Methodist Church officiated.

Parents of the bride are Barb Roberts of Neillsville and Donald Pohle of Milwaukee. The groom’s parents are Henry and Betty Hendrickson, Viroqua.

Serving as maid of honor was Brenda Pohle, the bride’s sister of Neillsville. Flower girl was Heather Bunton, the bride’s daughter. Bestman was John Hendrickson of Neillsville. Ring bearer was Henry Hendrickson of Viroqua. Both are the groom’s brothers.

The bride chose a lilac-trimmed gown and carried a basket of white and lilac-hued flowers. Her attendant was attired in cream hues and carried flowers similar to the bride’s. The groom had a gray suit, and his attendant was attired in a blue suit.

Following the wedding, a reception was held at the West Fourth Street home of the new couple. The couple will make their home in Neillsville. He is employed by Lynn Dairy.
