Reich, August (21 MAR 1859 - 18 DEC 1936)

Funeral services were held at the Mission Church at Milan Tuesday afternoon for August Reich, who passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Eggert, Dec. 18, 1936 at 1:30 in the afternoon. He had been ill for a year with heart trouble, which was the cause of his death.

Services were conducted by the Rev. A. Jensen and H.M. Findley and interment was made at Milan.

August Reich was born at Treptowra? Rega, Germany on March 21, 1859 and was 77 years old at time of death. He grew to manhood there and in 1870 he was united in marriage to Emelia Holtz, who preceded him in death on Nov. 15 of this year. Ten children….(the rest of my copy was cut off)
