Kronschnabl, Marcella (24 AUG 1935)

A beautiful late summer wedding took place last Saturday morning, Aug. 24, 1935, at 9 o’clock at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Crandon, when Miss Marcella Kronschnabl, daughter of Assemblyman and Mrs. Herman Kronschnabl, Crandon, became the bride of Anton Ringsmuth, son of Mrs. Anton Ringsmuth Sr. of Wakefield, Mich. The single ring ceremony was read by Father George Beth and the bride’s cousin, Milton Kronschnabl, Dorchester, acted as one of the mass servers.

The bride was attired in a white satin formal gown with a lace jacquette and a fingertip veil held in place by a halo of white satin. She carried a prayer book and bouquet of tiny rose buds on white satin streamers.

Miss Marie Kronschnabl, sister of the bride, wore yellow dotted net over yellow satin with matching accessories and carried an arm bouquet of dark blue larkspur. The groom was attended by John Kronschnabl, brother of the bride. The altars were decorated with white gladioli.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the Crandon Hotel to members of the immediate families with covers laid for fourteen. The happy young couple left immediately after the breakfast for a week’s wedding trip through Canada before returning to Wakefield, Mich., where they will make their future home.

Out of town guests included Mrs. A. Ringsmuth Sr., and Mrs. Joseph Sailor of Wakefield, Mich.; Mrs. Joe Kronschnabl and son, Milton of Dorchester; Miss Mary Lee of Chilton; Miss Jerry Smokvitz of Escanaba, Mich., and Miss Zella Haney of Phillips.

Miss Marcella spent her childhood days at Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), graduating from the St. Louis Parochial School. She, with her parents, left for Crandon eleven years ago. She graduated from the Crandon High School and spent one year at the Oshkosh Teachers College and two years at Eau Claire Teachers College. She has taught the first grade at Crandon for the past three years.

The groom is a graduate of the Wakefield High School and of Ferris Institute at Big Rapids, Mich., and since graduation has been engaged as manager of the Ringsmuth Hardware Store at Wakefield.

The many Dorchester friends of the newlyweds join in wishing them many years of peace and prosperity together.
