I saw the notice from the newspaper of the marriage of Marian Van Winter and thought I would post - I have done a little research on a Van Winter family who moved from NY to WI probably around 1842-1845. Michael and Margaret Van Winter had 7 children that I know of - Sherman, Margaret, Cyrus, Edgar, Truman, Perry, and Eva. I don't yet know where they lived in WI, and it doesn't look like they stayed long, but maybe something will sound familiar to someone... Thanks!
