Sterzinger, Adeline (30 June 1930)

A very pretty wedding took place at the Colby Catholic parsonage, Rev. H. Lachnit reading the marriage ceremony, last Monday, June 30, when Miss Adeline Sterzinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sterzinger, became the bride of Mr. Henry H. Scheibe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Scheibe of Dorchester, Wis. Miss Laura Beyerl acted as bridesmaid and Miss Margaret Sterzinger was maid of honor. The groom was attended by Gorman Sterzinger and Rudolph Sterzinger.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of peach georgette and carried a shower bouquet of tea roses and swandonians. The bridesmaid wore a dress of sweet pea chiffon with a corsage bouquet of sweet peas and roses and the maid of honor wore a dress of pink flat crepe with a corsage of sweet peas and roses.

Immediately after the marriage ceremony, a wedding reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents for immediate relatives, the home being nicely decorated in pink, white and green for the occasion. In the evening, a free wedding dance was given at Wiedenhoeft’s park which was largely attended, Kramer’s orchestra furnishing the music for the occasion.

The newlyweds will make their home on the groom’s farm near Dorchester, Wis.
